Divine Visit of Pujya Datta Nāda Prabhu to Melbourne, Australia
With immense joy and gratitude, Datta Yoga Centre (DYC) Australia welcomed our most beloved Parama Pujya Sri Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, Datta Nāda Prabhu, to Melbourne on 5th September 2025. Swamiji visited the premises of the upcoming Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple, 4–8 Mackie Road, Bentleigh East, and blessed the centre with HIS divine presence.
On arrival, Sri Swamiji graciously granted darshan to members and personally walked around the new premises, showering HIS blessings upon the team and the project.
6th September 2025
The two-day public program commenced with the auspicious Ananta Padmanabha Vrata and Sankalpa Pooja, where seven blessed families performed the vrata in the divine presence of Pujya Sri Swamiji. Some new community members also received the sacred thread directly from HIS divine hands, to commence their vrata from the following year.
This was followed by Swamiji’s Anugraha Bhāṣaṇan and public Darshana.
In the evening, devotees were uplifted by Nāmasankeertana, featuring the divine compositions of Pujya Sri Swamiji, presented by students of the Swara Sadhana Carnatic Music School along with devotees from Australia and New Zealand. The day concluded with Swamiji’s compassionate discourse and blessings.
7th September 2025
The day began with the auspicious Ganapati Homa and Sri Chakra Pooja, performed by Pujya Sri Swamiji HIMSELF. This was followed by the collective chanting of Soundarya Lahari and Lalita Sahasranama, accompanied by soulful bhajans composed by Sri Swamiji.
Swamiji then delivered HIS divine Anugraha Bhāṣaṇa and specially blessed the temple’s founder members and all dedicated sponsors of the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple project.
A graceful Bharatanatyam performance by Vidushi Ambika Arjun offered devotional expression through dance, after which Swamiji once again blessed all with HIS discourse and darshan.
In the evening, devotees rejoiced in the sacred Dolotsava, where Pujya Swamiji blessed everyone with HIS joyous presence. During this celebration, Sri Subramanya Sastry offered a sublime flute recital. Swamiji expressed great delight while listening to the enchanting Anagha Rāga, followed by the melodious Sindhu Bhairavi.
The atmosphere throughout was surcharged with devotion, with devotees gathered from across Australia and New Zealand. The main hall overflowed with devotees, while additional participants joined from the adjacent hall via live stream — all immersed in divine energy and bliss.
8th September 2025
On this day, Pujya Sri Swamiji departed for the Malaysia program, leaving behind a trail of divine vibrations, blessings, and immeasurable joy in the hearts of all devotees.
We remain ever grateful to our beloved Pujya Datta Nāda Prabhu for HIS divine visit and eternal grace upon the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple project in Melbourne.
